Going Greenererer

This past week I had an appointment with a licensed acupuncturist/PhD in Natural Medicine. After meeting with her, I decided to 1) start calling her my "fake doctor" and 2) take her advice. I have been looking for a bigger picture, long-term solution to several chronic nagging (but not serious) health problems. I think my doctor is great, but he is the type to slap a prescription on the problem symptom by symptom.

One of my most favorite things that my fake doctor said was that I need to get good fats like butter, olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado into my diet. She had me at butter! She also said she was concerned that I was underfeeding my body. I have found the perfect way to kill two birds with one stone:

Eating my weight in guacamole. 

Yes to the yes! 

Worry not. Eating my weight in guacamole is NOT what the fake doctor ordered. It is merely my interpretation of her advice. 


  1. absolutely! I make a meal of avocado often. Not guacamole - just the avocado. Very filling.
