untitled #5

If you are just joining Meg's Mind, on Saturdays I like to add a little teen angst to everyone's weekend by sharing my old poems from when I was an angst-ridden teen. I used questionable punctuation and grammar because it seemed more artistic. Also, I didn't like to capitalize letters. I don't know why.

We drive by
and I see the airplanes
lining the runway.
I wish I was on one
because to be on one
is to be out of self.
To be from those who love with constraints,
and who can hate to no end.
It means sweet oblivion to the past.
It may life peacefully forgotten.
Being on that airplane
is just being.
Landings are the reality.
